Caring for Clients in the Age of COVID

I have always loved working with people in person, and being separated from my beloved clients during the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic was challenging in many ways. Although we are all aware of the need for responsible social distancing practices, many of us have found ourselves bereft in the absence of contact with our loved ones.

I was so happy to be able to see clients in the office again after Connecticut went into Phase 2 of its reopening plan, and am so grateful for the time I was able to spend with clients in person.

Unfortunately, the number of local Covid infections has risen over the past few weeks. After much thought and contemplation, as of Monday, November 16, 2020, I have decided to again close my office to in-person sessions. My top priority is the health and well-being of my clients and my family, and to do whatever I can to maintain an atmosphere of safety in my office.
